The Falmouth Genealogical Society wants to recognize the contributions of
Clare H. Maybury (13 July 1937 ~ 5 March 2005)
to the success of this project; reading and indexing the Davisville Cemetery.
Thank You, Clare!  We miss you!

The Davisville Cemetery is located off Davisville Road in the Davisville section of East Falmouth, MA.

To enter the cemetery you must walk down a dirt, access road through the beautiful gardens of Mr. Robert Bidwell.

About 1925 the Town of Falmouth took over the cemetery.  At that time George Moses deeded part of his land that adjoined the cemetery.  This land acquisition almost doubled the size of the burying ground.

In the latter part of the 20th Century Robert Bidwell deeded part of his land that adjoined the cemetery.

This cemetery is an excellent example of a country burying ground.
